CVE-2022-30361Public exploitNetwork attack vector

User data disclosure via unauthenticated getUserType request

Published Oct 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 29, 2024

Sensitive data exposure in OvalEdge 5.2.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read registered-user details via an unauthenticated GET request. The /user/getUserType endpoint returns identifiers, status, email, roles, license data, and personal details without enforcing authentication. Network reachability alone is sufficient, and the reported consequence is disclosure of registered-user information without data modification.
