CVE-2022-30351Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Redacted content disclosure via retained PDF objects

Published Mar 30, 2023 · Updated Feb 18, 2025

Information disclosure in PDFZorro Online r20220428 allows remote attackers to recover redacted content from downloaded PDF files. The redaction workflow draws an opaque box over selected content but leaves underlying PDF text objects intact, allowing the concealed text to be selected and copied. Exposure requires possession of the generated file; after a document is locked and marked for redaction once, subsequent redactions remain vulnerable.
