Service interruption via firmware out-of-bounds read
Published Feb 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Intel Integrated Sensor Solution firmware allows local users to interrupt service through local access. Intel identifies the flaw only at the firmware level and has not published the affected parser, buffer, or operation that permits the read past a boundary. Successful exploitation requires local high-privilege access and affects availability without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
