Insecure file operations in Emerson ROC and FloBoss RTUs through 2022-05-02 allow remote attackers to alter flash filesystem data. ROC protocol Opcode 203 accepts unauthenticated master-terminal requests on TCP ports 4000 and 5000 to read, write, or delete arbitrary flash files and directories. Network reachability to the ROC service is sufficient, and successful use can disclose files, modify control data, or interrupt device operation.
