CVE-2022-30144

Adjacent unauthenticated code execution

Published Aug 9, 2022 · Updated Jan 2, 2025

Remote code execution in Microsoft Windows Bluetooth Service allows physically proximate attackers to execute code over Bluetooth. Microsoft has not published the flawed operation, input format, or code locus within the service that processes untrusted Bluetooth traffic. Exploitation requires no credentials or user interaction, but the attacker must be logically adjacent and prepare the target environment to improve reliability.
