Cross-site scripting via unescaped generated URLs
Published Jun 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Concrete CMS 8.5.7 and earlier and 9.0 through 9.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. The /dashboard/reports/logs/view output renders generated URLs without sufficient escaping, allowing attacker-controlled markup to execute as script. Exploitation requires administrative access and a user viewing the affected output in Internet Explorer with XSS protection disabled; modern browsers automatically escape the input.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
