Stored script execution via unescaped workflow values
Published Sep 20, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2025
Stored XSS in YetiForce CRM before 6.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. WorkFlow Smarty templates render task summaries, module names, field names, and related dynamic values into HTML attributes without escaping them. Low-privileged network access is required to store the payload, and another user must open the affected workflow view, exposing that user's browser-session data and actions.
