CVE-2022-30024Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via System Tools GET request

Published Jul 14, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Buffer overflow in TP-Link TL-WR841N V10 through V12 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through its web interface. The httpd daemon copies attacker-controlled GET-request data without checking that it fits the destination buffer, although public records do not name the function. Valid management credentials and network access to the web service are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-chosen code on the router.
