Administrator account takeover via stored team-field script
Published May 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Rescue Dispatch Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal an administrator's session cookie. The team-creation workflow stores script markup submitted in the Team Leader/Code field and later renders it when an administrator opens the teams page. Staff-level access is required to plant the payload, and administrator interaction executes it in the application's origin, enabling account takeover.
