Administrator account creation via unverified cross-origin request
Published May 23, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Lumidek Associates Simple Food Website 1.0 allows remote attackers to create an administrator account. The admin/save_user.php endpoint accepts a cross-origin POST containing attacker-chosen credentials and an Admin position without verifying that the logged-in administrator intended the request. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open attacker-controlled content, after which the new account grants administrative access to the web portal.
