Authenticated database inference via nominee_id SQL injection
Published May 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Angeljudesuarez Insurance Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data via nominee_id. The editNominee.php endpoint uses nominee_id in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax; injected Boolean predicates change the response length. A valid super-administrator session is required, and the demonstrated oracle exposes database values one condition at a time without directly returning them.
