Database disclosure via injectable invoice identifier
Published May 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Client Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the invoice-view id parameter. The invoice-view handler incorporates the id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing boolean conditions to change response length. No authentication is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates blind extraction of the database name through repeated requests.
