Firmware memory corruption via oversized update sequence array

Buffer overflow in AMI NTFS driver 1.0.0 allows attackers to corrupt firmware memory via a crafted NTFS filesystem image. The update-sequence restoration routine accepts more array entries than the allocated index buffer can hold and writes two attacker-chosen bytes past its end. Triggering requires the firmware driver to process the malformed image; the demonstrated primitive replaces two known nonzero bytes at a chosen out-of-bounds offset.
