Operator-location disclosure via unencrypted AeroScope broadcasts

Information disclosure in DJI drone devices sold from 2017 through 2022 allows physically proximate attackers to obtain operator locations. The aircraft automatically transmits flight data, serial identifiers, and the pilot's GPS coordinates in AeroScope messages protected only by a proprietary, unencrypted signal format. Reception requires compatible radio hardware within signal range; no authentication or operator action is required, and the disclosed coordinates reveal the controller's physical location.
