Authenticated action execution via stored configuration XSS
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Dec 9, 2025
Stored XSS in Siemens SICAM T before 3.0 allows remote authenticated users to act as a logged-in user through the configuration interface. The configuration interface stores input without proper validation, then exposes the injected script in affected views. Exploitation requires device credentials and a logged-in user to open an affected view, where the script runs with that user's interface privileges.
