CVE-2022-29872Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unvalidated POST parameters

Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Dec 9, 2025

Improper input validation in Siemens SICAM T before 3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted POST requests. The web interface fails to neutralize parameter or argument delimiters in POST request values, allowing crafted input to control the program counter. A valid account and network access to the interface are required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary code or places the transducer in a denial-of-service state.
