Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025
Command injection in Western Digital Cloud OS 5 before 5.26.119 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code as root. The account_mgr CGI script passes a user-supplied string to a system call without adequate validation, permitting shell command injection.
