Improper authentication in Western Digital My Cloud before 5.25.124 allows physically proximate attackers to access drive information after reset. Western Digital has not published which encrypted-volume or auto-mount authentication check fails during the reset sequence. Exploitation requires physical device access and user interaction, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of drive information.
