Hard-coded keys in GX Works3 1.000A through 1.095Z and Motion Control Setting 1.000A through 1.065T let remote attackers read or alter project data. The project-file security mechanism uses a hard-coded, unchangeable cryptographic key to protect sensitive project information. Network access to project files or security keys is the gate; successful exploitation discloses or tampers with those files without authentication.
