Denial of service via buffer-size integer overflow

Integer overflow in libxml2 before 2.9.14 and libxslt through 1.1.35 allows remote attackers to crash XML-processing applications. The xmlBuf and xmlBuffer growth functions in buf.c and tree.c add requested lengths without checking for arithmetic wraparound, so undersized allocations precede out-of-bounds writes. A victim application must process multi-gigabyte XML, and static XML generally requires XML_PARSE_HUGE; XSLT can construct large nodes dynamically, leading to memory corruption and a crash.
