Reflected XSS in JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2022.1 allows local users to run script in an IDE browser context via server errors. The internal web server reflects attacker-controlled request content into rendered error messages without adequate output neutralization; JetBrains has not disclosed the responsible function. The required low-privileged local access and user interaction bound the impact to reading or changing data within the affected browser context.
