CVE-2022-29784Network attack vector

Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via missing token enforcement

Published Jun 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Information disclosure in PublicCMS 4.0.202204.a and earlier allows remote attackers to read system configuration data over the network. The SysConfigDataDirective exposes its code and codes lookups through the HTTP directive without declaring that an application token is required. No account or user interaction is needed, and the exposed data is limited to configuration values returned for attacker-chosen configuration codes.
