Authenticated stored XSS via jobinfo task fields
Published Jun 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in XXL-Job 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in administrators' browsers via /xxl-job-admin/jobinfo. The task-management endpoint stores submitted field content and renders it without adequate output escaping, allowing a script payload to persist and run when the task is viewed. An authenticated user must submit the payload and another user must open the affected task; the script can read accessible browser data or perform actions in that user's session.
