Denial of service in adbyby 2.7 allows remote authenticated users to exhaust CPU through numerous connections to port 8118. The port 8118 listener accepts large numbers of client connections without an effective connection or resource limit, driving CPU utilization high. Network access and low privileges are required; sustained connection volume interrupts service without reported data exposure or modification.
