User-session script execution via reflected test parameter
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in SurveySparrow Enterprise Survey Software 2022 allows remote attackers to execute script via the test parameter. The /login endpoint reflects a crafted test query value into executable page content without neutralizing its JavaScript scheme and encoded delimiters. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted URL, after which the script runs in the SurveySparrow page context and can access data available to that session.
