Stored script execution via unsanitized signup input
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in SurveySparrow Enterprise Survey Software 2022 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The signup flow stores a crafted test query value and renders it without neutralizing JavaScript, causing the payload to execute when the affected view loads. A low-privileged remote account and subsequent user interaction are required; execution can read browser-accessible data or alter page content.
