Database disclosure via singer deletion SQL injection
Published May 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Blind SQL injection in CSCMS Music Portal System 4.2 allows remote authenticated users to query its database through a singer deletion request. The singer_Singer.php_del handler accepts SQL syntax in the POST id value and evaluates injected sleep expressions, producing a timing oracle for blind database queries. An administrator session and an existing singer record are required; successful exploitation permits database contents to be inferred one condition at a time.
