Browser script execution via unescaped index fields
Published Apr 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Crypt Server before 3.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through the index view. The index view renders stored serial, computername, and username values without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a user to load the affected view, where the injected code executes within that user's browser context.
