Stored XSS in Mahara before 20.10.5, 21.04.4, 21.10.2, and 22.04.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in viewers' browsers. Stored HTML bearing the embedly CSS class is used to construct a JavaScript action without neutralizing attacker-controlled content. An account permitted to submit HTML and a later viewer are required; the script runs in the viewer's Mahara origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
