Restricted-data discovery via permission-blind search
Published Jul 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Cybozu Garoon 4.0.0 through 5.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to detect restricted data via search. The search function returns existence indicators for data in Spaces, Bulletin Board, and File Management without enforcing the caller's viewing privilege. A valid account is required, and the exposure is limited to confirming that protected data exists rather than reading its contents.
