Arbitrary file read via CSV attachment paths
Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Path traversal in Lansweeper 10.1.1.0 article import allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files via crafted CSV data. The ImportArticles handler accepts an absolute path in the CSV Attachments field and imports the server-local file without restricting it to an allowed directory. A valid web-console session and anti-forgery token are required; the demonstrated request reads web.config and does not establish file modification.
