Arbitrary file disclosure via traversal parameters
Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Directory traversal in T&D Data Server and THERMO RECORDER DATA SERVER allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. The parameter-processing path accepts traversal input and resolves it outside normal operational folders without enforcing the intended directory boundary. T&D Data Server Japanese Edition 2.22 and earlier and English Edition 2.30 and earlier, plus both THERMO RECORDER DATA SERVER editions 2.13 and earlier, are exposed without authentication; access is limited to read-only files available to the service account, and folders cannot be opened.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
