CVE-2022-29499Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via loopback request proxy

Published Apr 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

Command injection in Mitel MiVoice Connect Service Appliances through 19.2 SP3 allows remote attackers to execute code over HTTP. The vtest.php get_url parameter makes a loopback request to ucbsync.php, whose syncfile handler passes an unvalidated parameter into a curl command that pipes attacker content to sh. External requests cannot reach ucbsync.php directly, but the loopback proxy bypasses that restriction and enables an unauthenticated reverse shell in the appliance context.
