SQL injection via unescaped query variables

SQL injection in Blazer before 2.6.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via crafted variable values. Blazer substituted user-controlled query variables without data-source-specific escaping, especially when escaping differed from Rails or a variable appeared inside a string literal, allowing the value to modify SQL syntax. Exploitation requires a user to run the affected query; impact is typically limited to the permissions of the configured data-source account, but write-capable accounts can permit data modification.
