CVE-2022-29485Network attack vector

Browser script execution via unsafe content rendering

Published Jun 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site scripting in SHIRASAGI 1.0.0 through 1.14.2 and 1.15.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. The modal flow displays attacker-controlled page or group titles containing script, while the optional furigana flow processes a crafted URL as executable content. The modal path requires attacker-created titled content and a user's selection; the furigana path requires the feature to be enabled and two victim clicks.
