Service degradation via undisclosed IPv6 packets

Improper input validation in F5 BIG-IP and BIG-IQ Centralized Management allows remote attackers to degrade service via IPv6 packets. The TMM IPv6 stack processes an undisclosed class of packets in a way that decreases performance; F5 has not published the faulty parsing operation. Exposure requires an IPv6 self IP address and the disabled-by-default ipv6.strictcompliance database key to be enabled, and the reported consequence is reduced performance rather than a crash or data compromise.
