Stored script execution via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Dynamic Web Lab WordPress Team Manager 1.6.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. Shortcode attributes receive insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, causing attacker-controlled markup to persist in page content. Contributor-level access is required, and the payload executes when another user views the injected page, enabling actions in that user's browser context.
