Memory corruption via unchecked URL parameter copy
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in the web component of TOTOLINK N600R 4.3.0cu.7647_B20210106 allows remote attackers to corrupt process memory. FUN_00415bf0 in cstecgi.cgi copies the JSON url parameter directly into stack-local storage without checking its length. A network-reachable web interface is sufficient, and the published proof demonstrates the overflow but does not establish arbitrary code execution.
