Memory corruption via unchecked comment copy
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack overflow in TOTOLINK N600R 4.3.0cu.7647_B20210106 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted comment value. FUN_004192cc in the web component copies the JSON comment parameter directly into stack storage without checking its length. Network access to the router's web interface is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates the overflow but does not establish code execution.
