CVE-2022-29351Public exploit

Stored XSS via imported scripted SVG

Published May 16, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

The published claim says TiddlyWiki5 5.2.2 allows attackers to run script in the wiki origin by importing a crafted SVG file. The demonstration embeds a script element in an SVG that executes when the imported image is rendered. Importing the file requires user interaction, and GitHub withdrew its advisory after determining the report was invalid; the vendor likewise disputes that the behavior is a vulnerability.
