Unauthenticated command execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published May 4, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Web@rchiv 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted PHP file. Its document upload handler accepts PHP files without filtering extensions, stores them in a web-accessible location, and immediately returns a direct hyperlink. No authentication or user interaction is required, and requesting the uploaded file executes its PHP payload on the server.
