SQL query manipulation via unneutralized login parameters
Published May 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Bus Ticket Booking System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through its login endpoint. The /assets/partials/_handleLogin.php handler passes attacker-controlled username and password values into SQL processing without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. No account or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation places the application's stored data and operation at risk.
