CVE-2022-29309Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated server-side requests via controllable URL parameter

Published May 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Server-side request forgery in mysiteforme 2.2.1 allows remote attackers to make the server request attacker-chosen URLs. The published proof shows a controllable URL parameter reaching server-side request code and verifies the outbound request through a DNS callback, but the accessible report does not identify the endpoint or function. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is disclosure through requests originating from the server's network context.
