Path traversal in the CONTEC SolarView Compact download page before 7.22 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. The web server's download page accepts an unvalidated URL that can resolve outside the intended directory and returns the referenced file. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to files readable by the web service.
