Out-of-bounds write in InsydeH2O allows local users with high privileges to modify arbitrary system RAM and SMRAM through firmware calls. FwBlockServiceSmm performs incorrect pointer checks before certain SpiAccessLib operations, allowing a crafted destination to receive the byte 0xff outside the intended region. Exploitation requires local high privileges; the published consequence is arbitrary memory modification, not a specified persistence or code-execution outcome.
