Stored script execution via unescaped widget attributes
Published Sep 20, 2022 · Updated May 29, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in YetiForce CRM before 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to run script in other users' browsers. WidgetsManagement dashboard templates place widget names, URLs, and related values into HTML attributes without escaping or HTML encoding. Low-privileged access can store crafted widget data, but exploitation requires another user to view the dashboard, exposing browser-accessible data and actions.
