Missing cryptographic step in CaSS before 1.5.8 allows server administrators to access account cryptographic keys via standalone username/password authentication. The key-storage path omits a required cryptographic operation, leaving keys available to the server administrator instead of preserving the expected end-to-end protection. Exploitation requires a server administrator and a standalone username/password deployment; SSO and client-certificate authentication do not provide this no-knowledge guarantee, and impact is exposure of account keys.
