Command injection in Sourcegraph before 3.38.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands in gitserver. The Gitolite integration passes the administrator-controlled callsignCommand to gitserver for Phabricator metadata retrieval without restricting the executable command. Exploitation requires Sourcegraph site-admin rights, bundled Grafana administration, and the gitserver address, and grants access to the installation's underlying infrastructure.
