Arbitrary file overwrite via unchecked server file list

Improper file-list validation in rsync before 3.2.5 allows remote attackers to overwrite arbitrary files within a client's transfer destination. When a client pulls files, it accepts sender-added top-level arguments and names that violate the client's filter rules, then creates those entries beneath the selected destination. Exploitation requires a malicious server or an on-path attacker able to alter the session; overwritten files can include .ssh/authorized_keys when the destination is a home directory.
