Authenticated code execution via chart deserialization

Deserialization in chart processing in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Tampered client-side chart data is deserialized without adequate trust validation, causing attacker-controlled data to be processed by the SharePoint web server process. A valid SharePoint account and network access to the affected installation are required; successful exploitation runs code in the web server process context.
